We're seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on active projects (interiors, light industrial, detention/secure facilities, MEP-heavy TI, site improvements). You'll lead subcontractors and field staff, drive schedule and quality, enforce safety, coordinate inspections, and keep clients informed-start to finish.

Description
Key Responsibilities
- Own the daily site operation: plan work, lead morning huddles, assign crews, and clear roadblocks.
- Drive safety culture: enforce site rules, conduct JSAs/Toolbox Talks, verify PPE and fall protection, maintain incident logs, and correct hazards immediately.
- Manage schedule and look-ahead planning (1-3 weeks); update master schedule inputs, sequence trades, and escalate risks early.
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, equipment, and site logistics; maintain site signage, access control, and housekeeping.
- Monitor quality: verify work against plans/specs, perform inspections, punch-list management, and closeout documentation.
- Maintain documentation: daily reports, photos, manpower logs, RFIs, field changes, time & materials tickets.
- Facilitate owner/architect/engineer and AHJ inspections; attend OAC meetings and produce action items.
- Support cost control: validate quantities, track extra work, flag scope gaps, and assist with change order documentation.
- Lead startup & turnover: coordinate commissioning, O&M collection, as-builts, and warranty handoff.
- Model professional communication and coach crews-set expectations, recognize wins, correct issues fast.
- 5+ years supervising commercial construction projects as a Superintendent or Foreman/Assistant Sup ready to step up.
- Proven success delivering projects on schedule with strong safety and quality metrics.
- Working knowledge of building systems (architectural, structural, civil, and MEP).
- Able to read plans/specs, interpret submittals, and manage RFIs.
- Proficiency with field tech tools (e.g., Procore/Plan Grid/Bluebeam or equivalent; mobile daily-report/photo apps).
- Valid driver's license; ability to pass background checks, drug screen, and site clearances as required.
- OSHA-30
- Frequent travel to project sites nationwide; per diem available per company policy.
- Work in active construction environments (heights, ladders, weather exposure).
- Typical schedule:
Monday-Friday with occasional nights/weekends to meet milestones.

Salary
$30 - $35 per hour
