Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Procurement Manager role located in Ragland, AL. The Procurement Manager will oversee purchasing and procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services required for plant operations. Responsibilities include supplier evaluation and selection, contract management, negotiation of terms, maintaining supplier relationships, analyzing procurement data to identify cost‑saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications
  • Purchasing Management Certification through PMAC, APS or ISM or equivalent preferred.
  • University degree in Business or Finance an asset
  • Understanding of Finance
  • Basic understanding of American Contract Law
  • 7 years’ experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management, preferably in an industrial setting
  • Demonstrated negotiating skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and total quality.
  • Read, write and communicate in English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed organizational abilities.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Experience working with JDE / Oracle ERP systems
  • Ability to teach.
  • Ability to perform well in a team environment.
  • Self‑motivator
