The Head Receiver is responsible for overseeing all inbound shipments and ensuring accurate and efficient receiving processes. This role coordinates with purchasing, inventory, and warehouse teams to verify deliveries, maintain records, and uphold safety and quality standards. The Head Receiver leads the receiving team and ensures compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.

• Supervise and coordinate daily receiving operations.
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase orders.
• Maintain detailed records of received goods and discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to log and track inventory.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve receiving issues.
• Train and mentor receiving staff; delegate tasks and monitor performance.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of received materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Prepare reports on receiving activities and inventory status.
