AtWork Personnel is seeking an Experienced Automotive Air Conditioning Technician to join our clients team in Madison, AL. The preferred candidate will be responsible for installing, diagnosing/troubleshooting issues, repairing after-market automotive air conditioners.

• Conduct regular maintenance on automotive air conditioning systems to ensure efficient operation
• Install new automotive air conditioning systems according to specifications
• Troubleshoot, Repair or replace defective components in existing automotive air conditioning systems
• You will pull vacuums, charge, and wire test on the automotive AC after market units
• MUST be familiar with R-12, R-134A, R-22

• Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding technical manuals
• Knowledge of automotive air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles in automobiles
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration is a plus
• Ability to use tools such as ohmmeters for diagnostics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have the following tools: standard wrenches, screwdriver flat/phillips head, standard socket set, needle nose pliers, channel locks, side cutters, tape measures (will be given a tape measure test)

Expected hours: 40-45 per week

High school or equivalent (Required)
