Location: New Brockton

Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with the Chief Financial Officer to manage several functions of the business office. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Primary Duties:

General Accounting:
  • Reconcile Expense Reports
  • Record daily and monthly transactions to the general ledger.
  • Process monthly invoices for accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank accounts.
  • Correspond with other departments as needed.
  • Assist CFO with scheduling and daily functions.
Accounts Payable:
  • Serve as a backup to the Accounts Payable coordinator.
  • Assist with inputting vendor invoices, updating vendor files, and manage filing.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries regarding special reporting requests and other inquiries.
Other Duties:
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail for the business office.
  • Assist with departmental projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
  • High school diploma with relevant work experience.
Requirements:
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
  • Data entry skills and a knack for numbers.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of basic Bookkeeping and General Ledger experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
