Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at a prestigious hotel in Umm Said, Qatar. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department and ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality performance
• Create schedules for housekeeping staff, taking into account occupancy levels
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders when necessary
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet quality standards
• Handle guest complaints or requests regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with other departments such as front desk, maintenance, and laundry to ensure smooth coordination of services

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel setting
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
• Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Knowledge of proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicals
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations related to housekeeping duties
