Green Finance Specialist

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Green Finance Specialist to join their team in developing and implementing financial products and services that support environmentally friendly projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental sustainability finance and investment principles.

• Design and develop financial products and services that support environmentally friendly projects such as green bonds, green loans and sustainable infrastructure investments.
• Assess the environmental impact of potential investments and projects and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
• Work with internal stakeholders including investment teams, risk management and sustainability teams to identify opportunities for green finance and develop strategies to support environmentally friendly projects.
• Track and report on the performance of green finance initiatives, including metrics such as carbon emissions reduction and sustainable investment volumes.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory developments and best practices in green finance.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability or related field.
• 35 years of experience in finance, investment or sustainability.

• Strong understanding of environmental sustainability and finance principles.
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Certifications such as CFA, CAIA or Certified Sustainability Practitioner (CSP) are desirable.
