Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the environment and society through your work Do you have extensive experience in environmental baseline assessments and environmental monitoring both onshore and offshore If so we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Qatar Environment Team as a Senior Environmental Consultant.

• Leading the preparation and review of technical reports for marine environmental baseline and monitoring studies ensuring accuracy and compliance with both local and international regulations and standards.
• Conducting comprehensive onshore and offshore baseline surveys analyze data and propose effective mitigation measures for potential environmental impacts.
• Interpreting and applying relevant environmental regulations actively engaging in client meetings and stakeholder interactions to address concerns and ensure compliance.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients understanding their needs and providing technical solutions that align with their objectives effectively liaising and communicating with key client representatives to understand and manage their needs and deliver projects on time as the Project Manager.
• Demonstrating to clients and stakeholders a thorough technical understanding and implementation of environmental services demonstrating effective presentation of technical information to diverse audiences internal or external.
• Perform the role of a Project Manager by leading and managing the work with the project team and other relevant stakeholders to achieve positive project outcomes.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science Environmental Management Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 8 years of working experience in an international environmental consultancy with a preference for candidates who have experience working in the Middle East region and/or on oil and gas projects.
• Demonstrated track record in the planning coordinating budgeting invoicing and management of environmental projects including marine/offshore environmental surveys in the Gulf region.
• Indepth knowledge of local and international environmental regulations and standards staying informed about relevant emerging environmental regulations industry standards and best practices as well as cognisant in regionspecific documentation permitting and regulatory requirements in the Gulf region and within the oil and gas industry.
• Possesses exceptional technical writing skills particularly in the preparation of environmental baseline and monitoring reports with a proven ability to communicate complex environmental concepts clearly and effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in effectively presenting technical information to diverse audiences including clients stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
