As a Field Coordinator you will perform curative and preventive maintenance work on rotating machines (gas turbine centrifugal compressor and their accessory machines).

• Understanding and applying the work instruction given by the technical authority at site (FSE SM.)
• Reporting site activities, progress, challenges and look‑ahead schedule to FSE at site
• Supervision of the following tasks performed by the mechanical and instrumentation technicians
• Disassembly of rotating machine elements (mechanical and/or instrumentation)
• Cleaning of dismantled components
• Instrumentation test and calibration
• Repair work such as drilling and tapping
• Replacement of spare part if necessary
• Reassembly of rotating machine elements
• Read and perform precise measurements on machine elements
• Perform non‑destructive test such as NDT
• Distribution of teams in relation to the tasks to be performed at the customer’s site, outage execution as per operational excellence concept to reach safety, quality and lead‑time requirements
• Inspections and dimensional control of dismantled parts
• Ensuring compliance with the application of company procedures

• A degree from an accredited university or college in mechanical and/or instrumentation studies (or a high school diploma with at least 5 years of experience in a support or maintenance engineering position)
• Desired characteristics
• Additional experience in logistics maintenance or systems engineering is preferred
• Rigging and crane operations is a plus
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• IT proficiency
• Knowledge of related product support activities
• Ability to evolve in groups and convey urgency in customer needs and concerns
• Ability to evolve within a team and distribute tasks to be performed at the customer’s site
