Job Title: Senior Instrumentation Designer
Location: Office Based, Qatar
Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday
A leading international engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation Designer to support the delivery of complex oil and gas projects. This role will focus on the design and development of instrumentation and control systems for both onshore and offshore facilities. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to technically challenging projects while working as part of a collaborative engineering team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop detailed instrumentation and control design deliverables for oil and gas facilities
- Produce and update technical drawings and documentation using industry standard drafting tools
- Support the preparation of detailed design packages and engineering documentation
- Review and update design documentation during the project lifecycle, including as-built drawings
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure accurate integration of instrumentation systems
- Assist with design verification and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Support offshore and onshore project design activities where required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in instrumentation design within the oil and gas sector
- Proven experience supporting both onshore and offshore engineering projects
- Strong experience producing detailed engineering drawings and documentation
- Experience preparing and updating as-built documentation
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or equivalent drafting tools
- Experience working within detailed design phases of large engineering projects
- Familiarity with additional engineering design tools is advantageous
