Job Description
Aramark is hiring an experienced HVAC Technician to support facilities maintenance operations at Oriana House in Akron, Ohio. This role is responsible for the operation, repair, maintenance, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring reliable building performance, occupant comfort, and safe operations.
This position is well suited for a hands‑on HVAC professional who can work independently, manage preventive maintenance, and respond to repair needs in a facilities environment.

Required:
EPA 608 Universal
Compensation: Hourly rate $32.66.

Job Responsibilities- Installs, inspects, tests, operates, and repairs all refrigeration and related equipment.
- Calibrates, repairs, and maintains all pneumatic control systems.
- Checks, services, cleans, and replaces filters in all A/C air handling and heating units and documents the work.
- Cleans and maintains grills, ducts, and shaft ways in A/C, ventilating, and exhaust systems.
- Demonstrates knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration codes and coordinates with other trades.
- Completes preventive maintenance as scheduled and keeps records.
- Responds to emergency repair/maintenance situations as required.
- Maintains critical inventory required for operations and accounts for tools.
- Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and co‑workers.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
- Prior HVAC maintenance and repair experience (commercial or facilities environment preferred).
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration principles.
- Ability to read work orders, follow procedures, and document completed work.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and handle physical demands.
This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The position may also require uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).
