• Install telecommunications cabling through commercial and residential units
• Work on aerial spans to diagnose, repair or replace the customer’s equipment as needed
• Data collection and test procedures
• Fire caulking, air sealing and waterproofing work completed
• Climb into and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.)
• Must be able to lift/carry 80 lbs. regularly as needed with or without assistance
• Ability to wear safety boots, safety glasses, and a hard hat

• Successful completion of pre-employment background check, motor vehicle check, drug test, and DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet
• Able to perform all duties in telecommunications construction (such as pole transfers, maintenance builds, new builds, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction)
• High school diploma or GED
• Work aloft up to 40 feet in a bucket truck or on a ladder
• Professional communication with customers and employees
• 1-2 years of telecommunications experience preferred, but WILL TRAIN
• Knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
• Previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry
