- Performs maintenance, replacement, installation & repair of electrical and plumbing equipment.
- Performs carpentry work involving maintenance, alteration &/or repair of buildings, equipment & wood structures.
- Performs basic painting.
- Operates state vehicle to transport equipment, tools, parts, materials & supplies to various locations throughout the state or to transport vehicle to dealership for service or repair.
- Performs minor custodial duties.
- Performs general exterior grounds keeping duties.
- Performs minor maintenance on Division vehicles.
- Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary.
- 6 months of training or 6 months of experience in maintenance repair work (e.g., Lawn-basic electricity, plumbing, carpentry, masonry repair & use of associated hand & power tools & equipment).
- Valid commercial driver’s license required if motor equipment is of type & size regulated by sections 4506.01 & 4506.12 of Ohio revised code.
- Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment may be substituted for the experience required, but not for mandated licensure.
- Requires valid driver license to operate state vehicle.
