Job DetailsWe are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC equipment across a variety of commercial, institutional, and public-facility buildings. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and experienced working in the field with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, AHUs, VRF systems, boilers, pumps, and chillers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; replace components such as motors, sensors, valves, belts, and controls.
- Conduct equipment inspections, performance testing, and system verification.
- Document all work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future service.
- Respond to service calls and emergency requests in a timely, professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with building staff and management.
- 3–5 years of commercial HVAC service experience required.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration, electrical systems, and HVAC controls.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- EPA Universal Certification required; additional trade licenses or certifications preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service schedules.
