Our Partner is a fast-paced Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider with multiple warehouse facilities in the Akron area. They pride themselves on maintaining clean, safe, and professional environments for employees, clients, and visitors alike. To keep operations running smoothly, we’re looking for a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping facilities in top shape and ready for success.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility systems and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations across multiple warehouse locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
  • Support production operations by maintaining facility infrastructure (compressed air, water, waste systems, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and facility-related issues quickly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for larger repairs or specialized projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Assist with facility improvement projects, safety initiatives, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Skilled in use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Forklift experience and HVAC or electrical certification a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
