About Us: American Analytical Laboratories (AAL) was established in 1984 and provides a wide range of industrial scientific technical services and analytical chemistry. These include material testing, QC, environmental testing, landfill gases, raw materials, products, unknown identification and many other client specific testing requirements.

The Laboratory Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and/or oversight of the laboratory operation and staff performing testing and reporting.
You will be the first contact with the client regarding testing requirements and sample submission to the laboratory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Accessible to lab personnel to provide on-site support for both laboratory and field personnel for project information
- Stay in contact with laboratory staff regarding project status
- Primary point of contact to the clients regarding project set up, updates, issue resolutions, scope of work identifications and any other project/client communications
- Responds effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints
- LIMS use
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry – analytical/chemical, physical or biological.
- Basic knowledge of applicable permits and regulation and their testing requirements
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills,
- Knowledge of LIMS, compliance documentation
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize schedule deadlines, follow up on pending issues and work independently
- Attention to detail is a MUST
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to research analytical methods, regulations and standards
