Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate brings proven experience servicing client accounts with a strong track record of building and maintaining strategic relationships and working knowledge of insurance products and benefit plans.
Summary- Prospects new accounts of all sizes.
- Manages and nurtures a stable of consultants and brokers to increase production.
- Facilitates sale and implementation of brokered accounts.
- Manages general agency relationships and supports training and all aspects of sales activities of the general agent.
- Assists in development of new product launch and RFP process.
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Three (3) years performing same or similar responsibilities. Relevant experience includes: managing and servicing accounts within a broker agency or a healthcare organization, coordination of open enrollment activities, premium/rate development, and working knowledge of insurance products and benefit plan designs.
- Effectively use Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to facilitate performance of essential job functions.
- Exercise judgment in identifying groups that offer the greatest profit potential and the least amount of risk.
- Maintain current knowledge of methodology behind experience rated and community rated employer groups.
- Assess factors such as client company's primary objectives and needs to develop appropriate and competitive proposals.
- Analytical ability to assess, interpret and work with complex data to find solutions for an employer's benefit plans and cost strategies.
- Organize and manage time to accurately complete tasks within designated time frames in fast-paced environment.
- Professionally communicate verbally and in writing to execute presentations and sales calls.
- Maintain current knowledge of and comply with regulatory and company policies & procedures.

- Maintain confidentiality of member health and business information.
- Flexible: ability to adjust work hours to meet business demands.
- Bend, stoop, and stretch.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to operate computer, phone, and standard office machines.
- Drive for extended periods of time to brokers and employers within assigned territory.
