Located in Cincinnati, Clovernook Healthcare is seeking experienced LPN (LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE) to join our team. The primary purpose of the LPN position is to deliver safe and therapeutic resident care from admission through discharge, in collaboration with physicians, families, and the healthcare team.
Responsibilities of LPN- Provide direct nursing care according to the resident's care plan, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation.
- Supervise daily nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants.
- Monitor patient conditions and notify physicians of any changes.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program or college/university
- Current, unencumbered Ohio LPN license and CPR certification
- At least one year of experience in Long Term Care
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to long-term care. Essential skills include:
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work tactfully with a diverse team, residents, families, and agencies
- Organizational and prioritization skills
