Shift: Day Shift | 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit at Akron Campus. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and be comfortable floating as required. This role requires recent Epic experience and a solid background in Med/Surg nursing.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to adult Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
- Float to other appropriate units as needed
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience
- Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS and NIH certifications (preferred/required per compliance)
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Ability to float to assigned units
- Must wear solid black scrubs
- Maximum 7 days of RTO allowed (must be submitted at time of submission)
- No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
- Block scheduling requests will NOT be accepted
- Candidates requesting block schedules or exceeding RTO limits will be automatically rejected
