We are seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for the H5 unit at Akron Campus. The ideal candidate will have strong Med/Surg and Telemetry experience, be comfortable floating, and thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to Medical/Surgical and Telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize/report changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Float to other units as required
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience (required)
- Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS and NIH certifications (preferred/required per facility)
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Ability to float as required
- Must wear solid black scrubs
- RTO must be submitted at the time of submission
- Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed
- No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
- Block scheduling requests are NOT accepted
- Candidates requesting block schedules or exceeding RTO limits will be automatically rejected
