• Location: Akron, Ohio (Zip: 44307) – Northeast Ohio healthcare jobs
• Unit: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/19/2025, End: 3/20/2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880 – $2,020

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license or Compact State RN license
• Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
• One supervisory reference from Med/Surg Telemetry unit leadership (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation
• Onsite badging and fingerprinting required prior to start date
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and document nursing care accurately
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families
• Participate in orientation and ongoing competency modules as required
