WebMethods Integration Architect

We currently have a contract opportunity for a Web Methods Integration Architect.

• Design and own the end‑to‑end integration architecture across Power & Utilities platforms (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and surrounding enterprise applications.
• Lead the implementation of integration solutions with Web Methods using APIs, ESB and related middleware, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient data exchange.
• Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to translate requirements into robust integration designs, patterns, and standards.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes and performance optimizations.
• Provide technical leadership, documentation, and knowledge transfer to project teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in systems integration utilizing Web Methods, ideally within complex enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience integrating Power & Utilities platforms
  , specifically SAP and Maximo
  , or similar utility asset/ERP systems.
• Strong expertise with integration technologies and patterns, including APIs (REST/SOAP),
  ESB/middleware
  , and related tools (e.g., API gateways, message queues).
• Must be local to Akron, OH area and work onsite 3-4 days a week.

The expected pay rate range for this contract assignment is $65 to $75 per hour. Exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
