Availability to work 2nd shift is required
Hours:
Monday – Thursday 2:30pm – 1:00pm. 2 week training will be on day shift hours Monday – Friday 6:30am – 2:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete mixing or testing of rubber compounds in a timely manner with attention to detail and quality.
- Perform equipment/machine or reactor setup using a test request, specification, batch sheet or other input form.
- Verify & validate that the machine, test, sample are proper prior to initiating a test or experiment.
- Receiving and Checking in tires received from the warehouse as well as direct ships from the plants.
- Perform daily or weekly machine verification and safety checks.
- Operate manual, semi-automatic & automatic machinery/equipment & processes.
Education and Experience – Tire Lab Technician
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Associate degree in a STEM-related field is preferred
- 1-3 years experience
- Prior experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or industrial facility preferred
- $21/hr
