CNC Machinist

Now hiring CNC Machinists for a company in Akron.

Weekly pay ranging between $22 - $32 per hour, depending on experience.

• Plan machining by studying work order, blueprints, engineering plans, materials and specifications.
• Program mills or lathes by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.
• Maintain dimensions and tolerances by using micrometers and veneer calipers.
• Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting.
• Monitor the deed and adjust as needed to produce high quality parts.
• Inspect items and provide feedback to ensure quality defects are avoided.

• Ability to read blueprints.
• Must demonstrate regular attendance.
• Previous CNC machining experience is required.
