Summary

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a small team of non-exempt individual contributors within a specific functional area or small department. This role includes managing day to day operations, ensuring team productivity, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Operations Supervisor has accountability for the Autism Center.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily administrative and operational task within the assigned functional area or department to ensure efficient patient flow, optimize appointment scheduling and minimize wait times.
  • Supervise and provide leadership to administrative and clinical support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Responsible for performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Ensure optimal use of resources, including staffing, equipment, and materials.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in managing office finances, including billing, invoicing, and expense tracking, to support the financial health of the practice.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Manage operations at 1-2 locations, ensuring consistency and alignment with company standards.
  • Other duties assigned.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to make informed decisions, solve problems, and handle multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
    • Leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
    Education and Experience
    • Education:

      Associate's degree required. In lieu of an Associate's degree, 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Licensure: N/A
    • Certification:
      Certification in Healthcare Management required within 2 years of the role.
    • Years of relevant experience:
      Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience required.
    • Years of supervisory experience:
      Minimum 1 year of people management preferred.
