EY's Oracle Services practice is a national consulting practice that assists in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives. We provide clients with expertise in Oracle and Zuora applications and technology, advising on architecture, implementation and optimization of business processes and cloud technologies.
As a Senior Manager in Oracle Services focused on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors, you will lead client engagements and pursuits, drive program delivery and provide high quality business value.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Manage teams and deliver high‑quality processes, solutions or projects.
- Oversee professional staff, mentor and coach consultants.
- Maintain billable utilization across client engagements.
- Lead projects, manage timelines, budgets and deliverables.
- Engage with external clients daily; travel may be required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, IT and operations to advise on solutions.
- Serve as project manager for SaaS solutions using Oracle and Zuora.
- Work with pursuit teams to develop client proposals.
- Assist in developing solution architecture for complex requirements.
- Strong project management and solution architecture background, especially in Quote‑to‑Revenue processes.
- Excellent collaboration, communication and listening skills.
- Self‑starter with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to drive transformation and execute SaaS implementations.
- Experienced in managing cross‑functional teams and work streams.
- Knowledge of finance and technology senior/middle managers and business subject matter experts.
- Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with SDLC and technology business architecture frameworks.
- Adaptability to evolving technology landscapes and shifting client priorities.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of project management experience in a system implementer role.
- At least 3 years of solution architecture experience with SaaS solutions in Quote‑to‑Revenue.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and work streams.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle EBS, Oracle People Soft, Net Suite, Zuora Billing and Revenue.
- 5+ full‑life‑cycle implementations involving Quote‑to‑Revenue.
- 2+ full‑life‑cycle ERP implementations (order‑to‑cash, record‑to‑report, procure‑to‑pay).
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with full‑life‑cycle sales processes and RFP responses.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
- Willingness to travel based on client need.
- Prior consulting experience.
- MBA, MS in Information Systems, CS, or other related master’s degree.
- Vendor certifications in Oracle Cloud Applications, Net Suite, or Zuora.
- Experience in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors.
- Exposure to CRM and CPQ systems and downstream Billing and Revenue processes.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions or divestitures.
- Experience creating Statements of Work (SOW).
