** Why This Role Matters
** The Workday Security Specialist will be primarily responsible for reviewing, managing, and administering security role assignments within the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system, while ensuring role requests and assignments follow organizational process and global data privacy policies. The role will maintain all aspects of Workday security assignments, including but not limited to user based, role based and integration security groups.
** What You’ll Do
*** Work with HR and HRIS leadership to verify that appropriate access is granted to users while safeguarding sensitive information.
* Provide assistance with the testing of security change requests, assignment process improvements and training to our HR partner on our Workday Security matrix.
* Maintain Workday security roles assignments in alignment with business requirements. Review, assign and remove Workday user access based on approved requests. Provide configuration security enhancement request detail to the Customer Solution Management team.
* Provide regular SOX control support reporting as required. Conduct regular reviews of Workday user access to identify and resolve risks. Export ad-hoc security related reporting.
* Investigate and resolve Workday security-related issues, including access restrictions and account errors. Partner with IT to resolve application security issues. Provide vendor assistance to review new hire related access issues. Review and investigate system logs and reports as required.
* Partner with the Sr. Manager, Global HRIS Customer Solutions Senior and HRIS leadership to identify security enhancements. Conduct unit testing of new security change requests and Workday Releases. Provide guidance and training to HR stakeholders on Workday security.
* Stay current on Workday updates and new security features. Recommend enhancements to security processes and controls for improved efficiency and compliance.
** What You’ll Bring
*** Strong knowledge of Workday security, domain policies, and HR IT systems.
* Solid analytical, problem‐solving, and multi‐system thinking skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure SOX/data‐privacy compliance.
* Proficient in English and the local language, with the ability to translate customer requirements into English.
* Good understanding of HR policies and functional/technical HR processes.
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
* Ability to think through problems across multiple systems and mappings.
