We are seeking an experienced Telemetry/Step-Down Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity cardiac and stroke overflow unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide direct patient care in a 21-bed cardiac step-down/telemetry and stroke overflow unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and patient vitals.
• Perform lab draws and start IVs as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective care.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document in Epic EMR.
• Float to other units as required.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety protocols.

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio (or compact).
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or PCU experience (required).
• Proficiency in Epic EMR and recent experience with lab draws and IV starts.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (required).
• Flexibility to work weekends and float as needed (no block scheduling requests).
