Provides business segments and executive management with financial reporting and analysis that are used for strategic and tactical decision making. Works with various senior levels of management to develop, interpret and implement financial and accounting concepts or techniques related to strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive business results. Responsible for data collection, business analysis, developing tactical and strategic insight, and delivering recommendations to management.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts.
- Analyze performance, identify areas of risk and opportunity and make recommendations to finance and operations leadership for improvements.
- Lead and develop financial analyst.
- Review and determine the reporting and analysis needs of the finance department and create standardized and ad hoc reports to obtain the data.
- Prepare and coordinates corporate analysis requests and monthly/quarterly reporting packages
- Provide leadership and input to the periodic financial presentations.
- Apply financial and economic concepts including financial modeling, economic analysis, cash flow (DCF), profitability, earnings, balance sheet, taxes, financial ratios and alignment to KPIs.
- Leverage analytical tools and methodologies including visualizations to present findings
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing and data base applications (Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point preferred), HFM and Power BI.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with good analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Team Player.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Experience with accounting principles, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis across the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant, Certified Corporate Finance Professional (FPAC) or MBA preferred but not required.
- Typical office environment

- The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

- Must be able to operate basic office equipment (i.e. copier, computer keyboard, mouse and other computer technology required for job duties.
