A company is looking for an Underwriter III to manage underwriting processes for various loan types with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate loan documents for accuracy and compliance with standards and regulations Analyze financial information to assess risk and identify potential fraud or misrepresentation Collaborate with Loan Processors and Officers to finalize loan packages and provide recommendations to borrowers

Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; preferred coursework in Business, Finance, or related fields Five or more years of experience underwriting various loan types Direct Endorsement (DE) certification and current state-specific certifications required Expert knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulatory requirements Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
