Position Summary

The Tax Vice President is a personal tax specialist and advisor, responsible for top-level management of client relationships and tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and business owners. The role requires excellence in individual, fiduciary, and gift tax compliance and planning, with a strong desire to manage multiple client engagements concurrently. International tax planning and compliance for individuals is highly desired.

Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships and ensure all facets of personal tax engagements meet client expectations.
  • Supervise the Personal Tax Advisory Group’s management team and engage in their career development.
  • Handle larger and more complex client assignments in the Individual Tax specialty area.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering professional growth.
  • Ensure timely client service and responsiveness to client expectations.
  • Maintain working knowledge of flow-through entity taxation rules, tax research, and business development activities.
Qualifications
  • CPA
  • Minimum 15 years of related experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Leadership skills to manage and mentor teams.
  • Ensures timely client service and responsiveness to client expectations.
  • Working knowledge of flow-through entity taxation rules.
  • Experience in tax research.
  • Experience in business development activities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation and tax planning software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic operating system knowledge.
  • Experience in International Tax Planning and Compliance for individuals is preferred.

Discretionary year-end bonuses supplement the base compensation, which typically ranges between $200,000 and $250,000.
