Ready to shape the future of resilient communities?Verdantas is seeking a talented Construction Representative Intern to join our team in Mentor, Ohio and Dublin, Ohio.
As an intern, you won’t just observe, you’ll contribute meaningfully to real‑world construction projects. You’ll support field inspections, quality control testing, and environmental sampling, gaining hands‑on experience in areas such as sanitary and storm sewer installation, pavement rehabilitation, and water line construction.
What You'll Do:- Monitor labor, materials, equipment, and construction operations on site.
- Prepare clear written reports documenting operations, measurements, calculations, quantity tallies, and related project details.
- Document and report extra work activities with accuracy and promptness.
- Interface with clients, residents, and nearby businesses in a professional manner to address project impacts or questions.
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions while maintaining safety and productivity.
- Perform other related duties as needed to support project success.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members
- Previous engineering co‑op/experience a plus
