Job Description & How to Apply Below
- Responsible for programming and editing CNC mills and lathes
- Will develop efficient toolpaths to support precision turning, milling and drilling
- Will perform reverse engineering of gearbox components using micrometers, and calipers to generate models and data
- Will create 2D and 3D designs using Solid Works and AutoCAD
- Will produce drawings with full GD&T
- Will conduct mechanical design calculations to ASME standards, collaborate with production teams to improve fixturing, tooling, and machining methods while supporting quoting, inspection and quality standards
- Will work with customers to solve technical problems and provide cost effective solutions for gearing and gearboxes
- CNC machining background
- Master
CAM experience is preferred but open to Gibbs
CAM or Fusion 360 - 4+ years of 2D/3D design experience using Solid Works or AutoCAD
- Custom machinery experience is preferred
