Design Engineer - Tooling

The Tool Designer is responsible for developing tooling designs from concept through final release to manufacturing. This includes creating 3D models, layouts, and documentation while meeting project deadlines and maintaining clear communication with internal teams and customers. The role is primarily CAD-focused and offers overtime eligibility.

• Produce tooling designs based on engineering direction or provided concepts.
• Ensure designs align with customer specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Apply design-for-manufacturing principles and complete projects through final deliverables.
• Generate detailed 2D and 3D models according to departmental processes.

• Prior design experience specially with molds dies, or tooling (plastic injection, aerospace, or similar). We will consider other design experience outside of this but that is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with machining or manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Proficiency in major CAD platforms (such as NX, Solid Works, or CATIA) and basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
