HVAC Engineer II

A leading industrial engineering organization is seeking an HVAC Engineer II to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of HVAC engineering and system design across industrial projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable solutions.

• Designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities and process environments
• Supporting project teams with calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts
• Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external consultants
• Providing technical guidance throughout the design, installation, and commissioning phases
• Supporting industrial projects involving ventilation, temperature control, and air filtration

• 5+ years of HVAC engineering and design experience in an industrial environment (chemical, manufacturing, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• Consulting engineering experience strongly preferred
• Experience with plumbing, dust collection, and fire protection is a plus
• Strong knowledge of HVAC codes, standards, and industrial best practices
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
