Sr. Engineering and PLM Solution Architect Manager

Location:

1200

E. Market Street, Suite 650, Akron, OH 44305. Hybrid position (home and office). Employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Travel up to 10% internationally and/or domestically as needed.

• Manage the application development and project team.
• Design, build, and implement effective application solutions on a global basis.
• Configure, sustain, and architect on-prem servers, VMs, and cloud solutions for a global PLM enterprise platform.
• Improve the performance and availability of servers and services by designing solutions that leverage state-of-the-art compute, storage, database, and network technologies.
• Apply the principles of engineering life cycles and methodologies such as automated deployment, orchestration, cyber security, process documentation practices, and testing techniques.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or other closely related field and 120 months of experience in job offered or related.
• Required experience must include: 120 months of experience in IT support, as well as, software lifecycle development cycle.
• 120 months of experience leading teams in software development projects.
• 60 months of experience supporting, implementing, and upgrading engineering and PLM software in an Engineered to Order or Engineering-Procurement
  - Construction ("EPC") company.
• Experience conducting Dassault PLM and Engineering software implementation, integration and operational support, including design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of programs in a Dassault Enovia PLM system within an EPC industry.
• Experience applying IT and software (including Java and .NET) with specific implementations regarding Dassault Enovia customization and integrations to ERPs, custom applications, and reports.
• Experience creating and managing engineering Bill of Material systems in the Engineered to Order industry.
• Experience with engineering modelling and drafting systems, as well as PLM and engineering document storage systems (including Enovia PLM and Adept) for EPC companies.
• Experience applying Dassault PLM with CAD, CAM, simulation, and automation capabilities to large organizations to enable customer strategic initiatives to be deployed in an engineering environment.
