Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a substitute teacher based in Akron, OH. The Substitute Teacher will deliver engaging lessons, provide support for daily classroom activities, and maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities also include assisting with classroom management, implementing lesson plans, and supporting students' educational and developmental needs.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Teaching, Lesson Planning, and Education
- Strong Communication skills necessary for effective interaction with children, staff, and parents
- Experience with Training or mentoring in an educational setting is an asset
- Enthusiasm for working with children, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred
- Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to thrive in a dynamic environment
