The Mandel ECE at the Shaw JCC of Akron is seeking an energetic, creative, and dedicated Early Childhood Summer Activities Specialist to join our team for the summer season. This role is ideal for an early childhood education professional passionate about working with children aged 2-5 and eager to create meaningful experiences that promote growth and happiness.

The Summer Activities Specialist will design and implement weekly themed lesson plans that include crafts, games, hands‑on activities, and interactive experiences tailored to various age groups.

This position is part‑time and seasonal for the summer. Position will start at the end of May.

• Associate of Science or higher in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, or related field (required)
• Experience working with children ages 2-5 in a classroom or early learning setting
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
• Ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities that support social/emotional, physical, and cognitive development
