Head Start Teacher Assistant

Assist the classroom teacher to work with preschoolers (ages 3 to
5) enrolled in the FREE Head Start program and assist with carrying out the classroom duties that include preparing and implementing curriculum and developmental experiences. Seasonal (9‑month) and year‑around (11‑month) work schedules are available. Qualified candidates will have completed secondary education or equivalent with six (6) months experience in an age‑appropriate teaching field and have or be working toward a preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate or equivalent combinations of training and experience.

A valid State of Ohio Driver’s License is required, as the position involves minimal travel. Pay rate: $16.31 per hour.
