QualificationsRequired
Valid teaching certification/licensure in the State of Ohio.
Desired
Commitment to work 24 hrs. per week at ACH;
Demonstrates knowledge of instructional strategies;
Experience in planning, developing and conducting instruction in a one-one setting;
Commitment to work with scientifically-based research instructional practices;
Experience working collaboratively with families, teachers, school districts and ACH staff.
- Provide academic instruction supports on site at ACH;
- Communicates with the regular classroom teacher to identify pupil needs;
- Reports pupil progress to classroom teacher, program personnel and/or parents;
- Keeps up-to-date records of each pupil's progress; and
- Performs all other duties as directed by the Director of Special Education or his designee.
- Reports to ACH 24 hours per week, follows Akron Public School's calendar.
