Teacher's Aide

A full-time Paraprofessional position is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment within the Cleveland, OH area. This role is integral to assisting teachers in delivering instruction and providing individualized support to students, ensuring a productive and inclusive learning atmosphere across grade levels.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting classroom teachers with instructional activities and student supervision
• Supporting students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Implementing lesson plans under teacher guidance and facilitating small group instruction
• Managing classroom materials and maintaining a safe, organized learning environment
• Monitoring student progress and communicating observations to teaching staff

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in a K-12 setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and students
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude when supporting diverse student needs
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing classroom activities
• Relevant paraprofessional certification or coursework a plus

Cleveland, OH area

Position Details:

• Full-time schedule, approximately 32-35 hours per week
• Contract position for the complete school year (CSY)
• Pay range: $19-22 per hour based on experience and qualifications
