Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician Locums in Ohio - 1 Week Per Month
Consult-only MFM assignment in Akron with flexible monthly blocks, no deliveries, and remote call option.
Highlights
- One week per month - you pick the week
- Remote call optional - phone consults only
- No deliveries, no primary OB
- Long-term assignment through summer 2026
Practice Setting
- Outpatient consultative MFM clinic
- Supports a Level III hospital with 3,000+ deliveries/year
- Team includes 6 MFMs, 4 APPs, OBs, and behavioral health
- Academic appointment available
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8a to 4p
- Call is fully remote and not required (1:3, moving to 1:4)
- Block scheduling available
Cases and Procedures
- High-risk OB: diabetes, reproductive genetics
- Amniocentesis, CVS, umbilical cord sampling
- Strictly consult and co-management
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Maternal and Fetal Medicine
- Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ
- BLS, DEA, NRP, and PALS required
Travel Accommodations
- Lodging and mileage covered for regional candidates
- Flights not included
