Primary Care Pediatrician - Pediatrics; ACP Fairlawn

Overview

Pediatrician Opportunity, Akron Children's Pediatrics Fairlawn – Akron, Ohio. This is an outpatient opportunity with after-hours call and Saturday office hours shared between providers from surrounding offices. Physicians cover the well newborn nursery at Cleveland Clinic Akron General and round a week approximately once every 10–12 weeks. This position is a 501(c)(3) site eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.

The Akron Children's Pediatrics (ACP) office in Fairlawn has 10 experienced pediatricians and 2 nurse practitioners. This is a busy existing practice welcoming both new graduates and established providers to join and grow within the practice. ACP brings pediatric primary care for babies, children, and teens to northeast Ohio communities through our 40+ pediatric offices. ACP offices follow standard hospital-based policies while retaining the local culture of each practice.

The offices use EPIC as a system-wide electronic health record and are PCMH certified. The Patient-Centered Medical Home model emphasizes patient-centered care and strong relationships between patients and care teams.

• Provide outpatient pediatric care in a busy, established practice.
• Share after-hours on-call responsibilities and Saturday office hours with providers from surrounding offices.
• Cover the well newborn nursery at Cleveland Clinic Akron General and participate in weekly rounding approximately every 10–12 weeks.
• Collaborate with a team of pediatricians and nurse practitioners to deliver high-quality patient care.

• Board-certified or board-eligible pediatrician (or equivalent).
• Willingness to participate in after-hours triage and weekend coverage as part of a collaborative team.
