A company is looking for a Deputy Editor to support the Editor-in-Chief in managing submissions and shaping the journal's strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee manuscript review and decision-making in assigned domains
- Recruit and engage expert reviewers; uphold reproducibility and ethical standards
- Advise on special issues and emerging research areas
- Ph.D. (or equivalent) in relevant fields such as Robotics, AI, or Control Systems
- Strong publication record in top-tier venues
- Prior editorial or program committee experience
- Expertise in at least two core areas (AI, robotics, sensors, etc.)
- Commitment to open science and ethical research practices
