We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Inspector to assume resident project oversight to observe compliance with plans and specifications for public works construction. Relevant experience would include technical construction projects, ultimately including asphalt, concrete, bridges or some combination. The project location for this role is in the Youngstown/Akron/Cleveland area.
We provide services for transportation, water, architecture, and energy infrastructure projects. Our years of experience allow us to guide contractors in constructive ways, expedite decisions in the field, promote project savings, and timely completion for the benefit of our clients.

What You’ll Do:- Perform Resident Representative duties, including full‑time on‑site inspection for both short‑term and long‑term assignments.
- Assist in administering the terms of the construction contract, including processing submittals and managing RFIs, shop drawings, and schedules.
- Document construction progress in accordance with the contract specificationsكور, including detailed风
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, specifications, and contractor pay requests.
- Act as a liaison between contractors, design professionals, and clients, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, consultants, and clients to secure necessary approvals and permits.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Familiarity with basic construction processes, including the ability to read and interpret project plans, contract specifications, apply mathematical formulas and engineering principles.
- ODOT Inspection Prequalification is a plus.
- Experience with State and Municipal construction and materials specifications.

Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or Construction Engineering Technology.
- ODOT, APWA, or NICET Certifications, or equivalent, are preferred.
