Geo Market Strategy & Operations Leader

The Geo Market Strategy & Operations (MS&O) Leader plays a critical role in driving go‑to‑market execution, operational discipline, and cross‑functional market enablement across a geographic grouping of offices. This leader partners closely with Office Managing Partners, Hub OMPs, Service Line leaders, Sector teams, and enablement functions to maximize ROI on market activities and accelerate account growth. The role integrates strategy, operations, planning, analysis, and stakeholder engagement to support local growth ambitions across sectors and service lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partners with local Market Boards to develop and execute Core and local market go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Collaborates across service lines, sectors, and enablement functions to support account prioritization, analysis of market trends and opportunities, resource alignment, competitive landscape, and forecasting.
  • Reviews, tracks, and reports on market trends, competitive intelligence, and potential growth opportunities across geography.
  • Serves as the integrated planning liaison for the geo, supporting annual goal setting, office budget development, and ongoing performance management.
  • Oversees NBD and CE budgets; provides insights into investment ROI and manages approvals.
  • Advances strategic board placements that strengthen our presence and cultivate high‑impact executive relationships within the local community.
  • Teams with local enablement teams to support execution of key initiatives and local activation plans.
  • Drives seamless connectivity with the Markets Organization by delivering insights, engaging the Strategic Relationship Office, and collaborating with Sales to activate critical tools and enablement for the Core portfolio.
  • Serves as a strategic connector by introducing best practices and new ideas that enhance consistency and accelerate innovation across geographies.
Qualities & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of related industry experience
  • High level of judgement and independence
  • Provides leadership, connectivity, and guidance across service lines, sectors, and key functions (Finance, Talent, BMC, Markets, etc.)
  • Manages significant project work that demands teaming with and supervising or providing guidance to various firm leaders and resources
  • Highly skilled at influencing and directing outcomes without pure authority.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding of firm organization / culture, and a proven track record of collaborating directly with Partners / leaders to drive key projects and results.
  • Proven track record of counseling and developing others.
  • Prior knowledge of EY, its people, systems, and processes is a plus.
What We Offer You

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.

  • Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US: $130,900 to $252,000. (New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California—excluding Sacramento: $157,100 to $286,400.) Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
  • Medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Hybrid work model: expectation for most people in client‑serving roles to work together in person 40‑60 % of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
  • Flexible vacation policy: you’ll decide how much vacation you need based on your own personal circumstances, and you’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence.
