Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Employment Type: 24-month contract
Pay Rate: $18/hour
The Mailroom Clerk III plays a key role in supporting daily mailroom and administrative operations within a corporate office environment. This position is responsible for mail handling, package processing, clerical support, and customer service while ensuring safety, accuracy, and confidentiality. The role is fully onsite and will assist with a special project initiative.
Responsibilities- Sort and distribute incoming interoffice and U.S. mail.
- Accept and deliver incoming packages (UPS, Fed Ex, Office Depot).
- Apply postage to outgoing mail and process outgoing UPS shipments.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties, including data entry, record/file maintenance, mail distribution, package delivery, telephone reception, invoice processing, and departmental support.
- Produce correspondence, reports, and presentations using office equipment and software.
- Maintain appointment calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with travel arrangements.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to safety and confidentiality.
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
- Communicate effectively and follow up with customers as needed.
- Continuously develop knowledge of Mail Services and Administrative Services processes.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 4–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong computer and typing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service and organizational abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to safely lift and turn while holding up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Demonstrates initiative and a questioning attitude to learn and improve processes.
