Accounting Associate - Akron, Ohio
Pay Range: $23.00 - $26.00/hr
Permanent Position with Benefits

Akron, Ohio area engineering firm seeks an experienced Accounting Associate.

• High School diploma or GED required
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting
• Minimum of (1) year of accounting or billing experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel
• Experience with project-based accounting
• Knowledge of A/P, general ledger & chart of accounts preferred
• Project billing & invoicing
• Accounts receivable management
• Client invoice preparation & contract compliance
• Partnering with Project Managers on billing questions
• Monitoring outstanding invoices & supporting collections
• Utilizing Deltek for invoicing, dashboards, and reporting
• Supporting payroll cross-training
• Assisting with audits & financial compliance
• Identifying process improvements
• Maintaining accurate financial documentation
• Strong communication & organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage deadlines

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
