Accounting Manager

Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: On-Site near Akron, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all core accounting functions, including general ledger, A/R, A/P, payroll, and financial statements

• Lead the monthly close process while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance review

• Maintain compliance with GAAP and ensure internal controls remain effective

• Oversee employee benefits administration, including 401(k) plans, and liaise with external providers

• Partner with HR on payroll accuracy, compliance matters, and onboarding activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)

• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment

• Strong experience with accounting or ERP systems such as Quick Books Enterprise, Net Suite, or Sage, along with advanced Excel skills
