Librarian job vacancy in Ajman UAE for Indian
Responsibilities- Manage library collections and provide access to users.
- Provide information services and reference services both online and in person.
- Organize and maintain the library collection; develop bibliographies and catalogs.
- Assist patrons in locating materials, including materials from other libraries.
- Organize programs such as book clubs or lectures related to collection topics.
- Purchase new materials when needed.
- Assist with children's activities (story time, craft classes).
- Supervise volunteers who help with these activities.
- Operate library computer systems and demonstrate knowledge of library procedures and services.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse population and maintain an enjoyable library experience.
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in computer use; ability to work with diverse patrons.
- Knowledge of library procedures and services.
- Ability to operate library computer systems.
- Experience working with people in educational and public settings.
